Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 11 March 2025
1. General
1.1. By booking a career coaching session through our platform, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
1.2. Our platform connects students with experienced mentors for coaching sessions. We facilitate scheduling and payments but do not guarantee specific outcomes from coaching.
2. Booking, Payments & Refunds
2.1. Students must pay the full session fee at the time of booking. All payments are non-refundable, except as outlined in Section 3.2. Upon successful payment, students will receive a confirmation email with details of their session.
3. Rescheduling and Cancellations
3.1. Students may reschedule their sessions based on the mentor’s availability. Students’ rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
3.2. Mentors may also reschedule a session based on their availability.
3.3. If a session is canceled or cannot take place due to the mentor’s fault, the student may choose to reschedule or request a full refund.
3.4. If a session cannot take place due to the student’s fault (including but not limited to no-shows, lateness beyond 15 minutes, or failure to provide necessary materials), no refund will be issued.
3.5. Under no circumstances will a refund be provided if a student cancels the booking.
4. Limitations on Rescheduling
4.1. Students may reschedule their session multiple times, provided both parties agree.
4.2. If a mentor reschedules a session more than three (3) times, the student may request a full refund.
4.3. If a student reschedules more than three (3) times, the mentor is not obligated to attend the session, and no refund will be issued.
5. Conduct & Responsibilities
5.1. Both students and mentors are expected to communicate professionally and respect each other’s time.
5.2. Students are responsible for ensuring they have access to any necessary tools (e.g., internet connection, meeting software) for the session.
5.3. If a mentor engages in unprofessional behavior, students may report it to contact@careercoachinguk.com, and we will investigate it accordingly.
6. Dispute Resolution
6.1. In the event of a dispute regarding a session (e.g., disagreement about attendance, timing, or refund eligibility), both parties must first attempt to resolve the issue directly.
6.2. If a resolution cannot be reached, the platform will review the case and make a final decision. This decision is binding and final.
7. Liability & Disclaimer
7.1. The platform is not responsible for any advice given by mentors. Students acknowledge that career coaching is a guidance service and does not guarantee specific career outcomes.
7.2. The platform is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from coaching sessions.
8. Amendments
8.1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes.
By booking a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
